GROUP HQ

The Scout Troop consists of 28 Scouts and 5 Leaders. We enjoy an excellent location on the edge of the West Pennine Moors and hail, rain, snow or blow, we are outside in the grounds of the HQ...........Activities include: Orienteering, Pioneering, Backwoods Skills, Axemanship, and Backwoods Cooking is a popular activity with the troop having won the Regional Trophy twice. Annual Camp is normally 1 week in the UK or 2 weeks in Italy, spending 1 week in hospitality with a Scout Group in Fuscaldo, Calabria Italy. Follow the link to their website.

The troop take part in many District, County & Regional activities and Camping & Youth Hostelling outside the UK form part of the International program along with Jamboree on the Air (JOTA)
